
CALPE
Under the close supervision of the cliff top of the Mediterranean, the Rock of Ifach,
Calpe has grown on both sides of the Great Rock, symbol and image of the
Costa Blanca. Their status as a tourist destination since the 30s is due above all to the quality
of its beaches of fine sand and the cleanliness of its waters. The municipality
saves in his last vestiges of the old town and sights like the ruins of the Baths
of the Queen, and that of some old salt mines. Its fishing port presents a very

from the area.
CALPE ACCESS
The exits 63 and 64 of the AP-7 communicate with Calpe, the municipality also be
accessed via the N-332 Alicante-Valencia. The population has narrow-gauge railroad,

CALPE BEACHS
From small, rocky coves to wide beaches of fine sand, Calpe has a varied and attractive

boards, jet skis or skates.
The offer of activities is completed by the sailing school yacht club, a diving
center in Puerto Blanco, a golf club and, dominating all, the huge rock of the Natural Park of the Rock of Ifach which, with its 332 meters, is a challenge for those who
love climbing.
CALPE GASTRONOMY
Fish and rice are the key elements of the varied cuisine calpina. The traditional
cuisine is the one that best defines the gastronomic culture of the term, which
nevertheless remains open to all good influences to mix them with the legacy left
by other civilizations. The "llauna of Calp" and "Arròs of Senyoret" are two of
